The Gibbs History Museum was excited to welcome visitors to our recent Open House! The event offered an opportunity to share our work preserving and celebrating the rich history of Gibbs High School and its lasting impact on the St. Petersburg community.

Guests had the opportunity to learn more about the museum’s mission and see how we are working to preserve the stories and traditions that make Gibbs High School so special. From documenting the school’s legacy to caring for artifacts and archival materials, our work helps ensure that the history of Gibbs continues to be accessible and meaningful for future generations.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and shared in our commitment to preserving local history. Every photograph, artifact, document, and personal story contributes to a fuller understanding of the Gibbs experience and the generations of students and community members who have shaped its legacy.

Thank you for being part of our story! We look forward to continuing to preserve and celebrate the history of Gibbs High School.
